Meet Carmine, a classic young black-and-rust Doberman Pinscher with a goofy, affectionate personality. He loves his people and enjoys walks, toys, training, playtime, and being included in daily activities. Carmine is smart, energetic, food motivated, eager to please, and responsive to calm, consistent leadership.

Ideal Home

Carmine would thrive with someone who understands Dobermans and enjoys helping a young dog continue developing his manners. He would do best in a home without cats. He may do well with an appropriately matched playful dog following proper introductions.

Ongoing Health

Carmine has mild to moderate hip dysplasia. His foster or adoptive family should be committed to following veterinary recommendations to help keep him active, strong, and comfortable. Surgery is not currently planned but may be considered in the future if needed.

Training & Support

Carmine is housebroken and crate trained. He enjoys training, is food motivated, and responds well to calm, consistent leadership, though he is still learning his manners.
