Meet Boogie!

Boogie is a lovable eight-year-old, 83-pound Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix with a sleek black coat. He was rescued at the start of the new year and has been embracing life with gusto, especially enjoying lounging in the dirt after a good run! Boogie is a balanced boy who enjoys cozy naps but also loves a good sniff-filled stroll or a game of fetch. He has a particular fondness for antlers and outdoor adventures. He knows commands like "sit," "down," and "stay," and he's working with a trainer on his leash reactivity.

Boogie has done well with some dogs in foster care but prefers a smaller social circle. He has a very special bond with his best friend, Baby, and they would love to find a home together to continue their close relationship. Boogie would thrive in a calm, pet-free home without small children.

Boogie has skin allergies that are managed with medicated baths and visits to a dermatologist. He is a cooperative boy who needs a consistent routine and a dedicated guardian.

Boogie is looking for a compassionate, outdoorsy family to call his own.
