Sammy

Meet Sammy, a handsome and playful German Shepherd mix who's ready to be your loyal companion! At around 70-80 pounds and 3-5 years old, Sammy is a goofy, oversized buddy who loves to enjoy life. He's a smart boy who learns quickly and responds well to clear boundaries, though he might playfully test them now and then. Sammy is surprisingly easygoing at home, content to spend time on his own and settles nicely with a good routine. He rides wonderfully in the car and would be thrilled to join you on all your adventures.

Ideal Home

Sammy would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where he can roam, play, and keep an eye on his surroundings. He would likely do best with older or school-aged children who can handle his enthusiastic greetings without getting bowled over.

Ongoing Health

Sammy has stopped marking indoors, a habit he previously had. He responds very well to correction and consistency with routine has been key to his success.

Training & Support

Sammy is playful and fun-loving but will need continued leash training as he can pull when excited. He's a strong boy who doesn't always realize his size, so ongoing training and structure will help him become the best version of himself.

Sammy is currently in a foster home in Conway, AR. Transport is arranged post-adoption by K9 Delivery LLC. Please check their transport route and nearest pickup location before committing to ensure you can make the drive to the designated pickup point.
