About Luke

Luke is a gorgeous 2-year-old Lab/Husky mix who turns heads everywhere he goes with his stunning white coat and soulful eyes. Weighing in at 80 lbs, he’s not just beautiful on the outside — he’s also a big-hearted boy with so much love to give. This beautiful boy is dog- and cat-friendly, making him a wonderful fit for many types of homes. He absolutely loves to cuddle, thrives on affection, and has already mastered several commands. Sweet Luke is a wonderful Lab mix who just needs a forever home to call his own. Luke is the perfect mix of playful and mellow. He’s learned his obedience basics from his previous family and loves showing off his smarts — especially when praised with a kind word or a treat. He can be a little cautious when meeting new people, but give him a moment and he’ll warm right up, showing his goofy, lovable side. What Luke really dreams of is a home with a fenced-in yard where he can stretch his legs, run freely, and play without being tethered to a leash. After his playtime, though, he’s just as happy to flop down and relax at your side. Luke would do well as the only pup soaking up all the love, or with a calm, easygoing dog friend. He’s fully potty trained, listens well to corrections, and is eager to please. This sweet, loyal boy is looking for someone who will give him the stability, love, and space he deserves. Luke will thrive in an active yet structured home where he can be both your adventure buddy and your couch companion. If you’ve been searching for a dog who’s as handsome as he is loving — Luke is the one. Every rescue pup is a work in progress — and that’s the beauty of it. None of them come wrapped in a bow, ready-made or mistake-free. They come with stories, quirks, and hearts that have seen a lot but still choose to trust again. Adoption isn’t about perfection; it’s about presence. Showing up for them, every day, until they know they’re finally home. That’s when you’ll see them bloom — soft and steady — into the very best version of themselves. And somewhere along the way, you’ll realize they were never the only one being rescued.
