This handsome 3-year-old Husky is looking for a fresh start after life changes in his family made it difficult to give him the active lifestyle he truly deserves. His original person left to serve in the military, and while her mother did everything she could to care for him, health challenges made it impossible to keep up with Buddy's energy and needs.

If you're expecting a Husky that sings the song of his people at 2 a.m., prepare to be surprised. Buddy is one of the quietest Huskies we've ever met! He rarely barks or howls, preferring to save his energy for the important things: giving hugs, handing out slobbery kisses, playing chase with his dog friends, exploring the great outdoors, going for walks, and rolling over for the world's best belly rubs.

Buddy is housebroken, knows sit, lie down, and give paw, and is very proud to show off his manners for treats and praise. He enjoys playing with other dogs and even met a cat at the shelter with friendly curiosity despite never living with one before. He's the kind of dog who just wants to be part of the family--whether that's joining you on outdoor adventures or happily soaking up affection on the couch afterward.

After everything life has thrown his way, Buddy deserves a forever home where he'll never have to wonder where he belongs again. If you're looking for a loyal best friend with a heart as big as his fluffy tail, Buddy is ready to come home.

Requirements: Martingale CollarAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.
