Meet Riff Scorpion! This 4-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog is a fetch fanatic and a speedy goofball, ready to bring joy, laughs, and loyalty to his forever home. Riff Scorpion is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. He loves to chase a ball and play fetch all day long, but he also knows when to slow it down and snuggle up on any dog bed or couch he can find. He’s super friendly and always happy to meet new people and pups. He’s a little particular about water – sprinklers are awesome, but he’ll dramatically refuse to continue if his paws get too wet in pools or puddles.

Ongoing Health
All vetting, including DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, FVCRP vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping, is covered by the adoption fee.
Training & Support
We know our animals very well and have spent countless hours with them, learning all of their quirks and goofy personalities. Our team of dedicated animal care professionals works day in and day out to bring every Little Hero out of their shell. From the moment they are accepted into our program, we provide behavior and medical care to prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally training, and providing social enrichment. We provide socialization for our dogs and cats through playgroups and one-on-one bonding time, where we will also work on their other skills such as leash training and basic commands. Our goal is to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue animals and will require continued training efforts and patience, but will be well on their way to being the best companions they can be!

Transporation
Riff Scorpion is available for adoption in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. Our dogs and cats are brought to you in transport buses, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. Pick-up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. Our Adoption Coordinator will help to find the closest transport pick-up location to you! The adoption fee ranges $150-500 for those being transported and is $75 for those being picked up at our Angleton, TX location.
