The first thing everyone notices about Nilla is her radiant pittie smile — it truly lights up the room! This sweet girl has already faced more than her fair share of challenges, but she’s showing her strength and resilience every day as she decompresses and blossoms into a beloved companion. She is happiest when she’s near her people, loyally following you from room to room or chilling contentedly when you’re out. Nilla is ready to tag along for any adventure, whether it’s a beach day or a neighborhood stroll; the beach has quickly become one of her favorite happy places. Due to her time in the shelter, Nilla prefers slow, gentle intros to new people, but once you're in her circle, expect endless kisses and sweet loyalty. Nilla is a smart and eager-to-please pup, a quick learner who loves to show off her growing list of training tricks, especially for tasty treats! She adores her sniffy strolls, even if she occasionally thinks she can catch a bird or squirrel (she’s easily redirected!). Like many pitties, Nilla has a few food sensitivities and thrives on a high-quality fish and rice diet (no chicken, please!). She also enjoys her daily “spa time” where gentle paw wipes and skincare help her feel comfy and cared for.
