Joy

Joy is a sweet girl with a big heart, though she's had a tough start. She is a survivor of abuse, and because of this, she needs a very specific home to truly thrive. While she's incredibly loving, she can be shy and uncomfortable meeting new people. A busy, chaotic household just wouldn't be the right fit for her sensitive nature. She is playful, energetic, and absolutely adores her walks. Joy is about 50 lbs, was born in 2020, and is fully vetted.

Ideal Home

Joy would do best in a calm environment where she can feel safe and secure. She is good with cats, other dogs, and even a bunny, whom she seems to have a special fondness for, sometimes even "borrowing" greens and carrots from him! A quiet home would be ideal for her to build confidence.

Training & Support

Joy can be a bit hesitant around new people, so patience and understanding will be key. Giving her space to approach new individuals at her own pace will help her build trust. She is a fantastic companion and will blossom with gentle encouragement and a loving environment.
