Archer

Meet Archer, a sweet and resilient boy who is more than ready to choose where his story goes next. Arriving to rescue from the reservation, this happy fellow has embraced every new experience with a wagging tail and an open heart. He is fun-loving, loyal, and eager to please, always ready to be part of whatever you're doing. Whether it's exploring walking trails, playing with dog friends, or simply relaxing at home, Archer is happiest when he's right by your side. He walks beautifully on a leash without pulling, and if he does get a little excited, he quickly corrects himself. Younger children in his foster home are even able to walk him! Archer knows "come" and "sit," kennels well (with the occasional little commentary), appears to be house-trained, and is always happy to make his people proud. He truly just wants to be near you, to be included, and to make you smile.

Ideal Home

Archer would do best in a home that will continue to guide him, include him in daily life, and give him plenty of opportunities to explore, play, and bond. He enjoys playful interactions with other dogs and is curious but generally respectful of cats.

Ongoing Health

Archer is fully vetted and ready for his forever home. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested negative, and microchipped. He is current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, as well as deworming protocols.

Training & Support

Archer knows "come" and "sit" and is house-trained. He kennels well, though he can be a bit vocal. He is treat motivated and clever, so keep your snacks hidden!
