Meet Pennz! This loving 2-year-old beagle mix is ready to trade a life of hardship for a lifetime of love. Pennz, along with two other dogs, came to us from a rural property where they had been living outside in neglectful conditions. They were found covered in fire ants and fleas, and sadly, even doused in motor oil in a misguided attempt to help with their skin issues. Despite these difficult beginnings, Pennz is proving to be a resilient and happy pup who is thrilled to be free! He's scrubbed clean, on the mend, and eagerly awaiting his very own forever home. Pennz is a sweet, dog-friendly boy who is a little shy but absolutely adores all the spoiling he's getting from our staff. He's truly "puppared" to turn his life around and promises to be the bestest boy. We've promised Pennz that the rest of his life will be the best of his life. Could that be with you?

Ideal Home

Pennz would thrive in a home where he can continue to gain confidence and receive plenty of love and attention.

Ongoing Health

Pennz is currently on the mend from his previous neglectful conditions. He is up-to-date on vaccinations and is neutered.

Training & Support

Pennz is not yet house-trained, so he will need continued patience and guidance in this area. He is a bit shy, so a patient and understanding approach will be key to helping him settle in.

Transportation

Pennz is located in South Carolina. We provide transport to the Northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. We offer local or virtual meet-and-greets with an application on file.
