Mace

Mace is a handsome, approximately two-year-old Plott Hound with a love for the great outdoors! He truly shines on hikes, eager to explore and sniff out all the wonders of the forest. Mace is a sweet boy with many classic hound tendencies, and while he will benefit from some basic obedience training, he has the potential to be a wonderful companion in the right home. He can be a bit of a food guarder due to his past, so understanding this and managing his environment will be key to his success.

Ideal Home

Mace would do well with teenage children who are accustomed to large breeds. While he might be able to live with a submissive dog after a proper introduction, his strong prey drive means he cannot live with cats.

Ongoing Health

Mace is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Mace will need some basic obedience training. He has a tendency to guard his food, which will require careful management and positive reinforcement in his new home.
