Everyone, please rise for Lady Eleanor, a distinguished 15-pound Chihuahua mix with impeccable manners, excellent cuddle credentials, and a deep appreciation for the finer things in life—namely snacks, soft blankets, and people who understand that affection should be given generously. Estimated to be around 6 years old, Eleanor arrived in rescue with her buddy Elmer and has been charming everyone she meets ever since. Eleanor is the definition of a gentle soul. She's sweet, social, and the kind of companion who doesn't need to be the center of attention to steal the show. She'll happily accept a cozy spot beside you, a few kind words, and, if you're offering, a treat or two. Actually...definitely the treat. Speaking of treats, Eleanor may have enjoyed a few too many in her previous chapter. She came into rescue carrying a little extra fluff, but she's embracing her wellness era with admirable grace. Daily strolls, sensible snacks, and plenty of encouragement are helping her rediscover her girlish figure, and she's looking for a family that will cheer her on every step of the way. She firmly believes fitness is more enjoyable when followed by a nap. There's something timeless about Eleanor. She has the quiet confidence that comes with experience and the kind of easy companionship that only gets better with age. She doesn't need to impress you with endless antics because she already knows the secret to being unforgettable: just be wonderfully, unapologetically yourself.
