Meet Dixie Rose! This resilient, intelligent, and sweet-natured girl was rescued from an abandoned property with her pups, who have all found their forever homes. Dixie Rose is blossoming and eager to experience all the love and comfort life has to offer. She's amazed by the food, water, and treats she now receives so freely and loves going for car rides. She's even getting accustomed to the water and enjoys a good splash! While loud noises or sudden movements can startle her, a little reassurance brings out her loving self. She thrives on praise, soft voices, and hearing "good girl!" Her favorite things include belly rubs, back scratches, treats, car rides, and simply relaxing with her people. Dixie Rose can share her home with other dogs or be the sole canine companion.

Ideal Home

Dixie Rose would love a patient handler who can continue to show her the ropes of her new life. She enjoys attention and reassurance and can be a bit sensitive to loud noises and sudden movements.

Dixie Rose is up-to-date on vaccinations, deworming, and heartworm prevention as appropriate for her age.
