Ideal Home

Puppies may scratch and nip, so households with small children should consider whether they can comfortably manage these behaviors. He should not be crated for more than 3–4 hours at a time until he is older.

Ongoing Health

Age-appropriate vaccinations will be current before adoption. Future vaccinations are the adopter’s responsibility. He is too young for heartworm testing, which is performed at 6 months. Pre-adoption veterinary care includes vaccinations, neutering, microchipping, deworming, and flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives when applicable.
