Rex

Meet Rex! This energetic 1-year-old Pit Bull mix is a true testament to resilience and love. He came to us with a hip injury that required significant surgery when he was younger. After extensive recovery, Rex is now feeling better than ever and you'd never know he'd been through so much! He's bursting with life and ready to bring joy to his forever home. Rex is a social butterfly who enjoys the company of other dogs. He's currently working on his leash manners and household etiquette, but with his eagerness to please, we're sure he'll master them in no time. He absolutely adores a good belly rub and has been a fantastic companion on "Doggy Day Outs," confidently meeting new people at restaurants. Like all wonderful rescue pups, Rex will benefit from continued training and socialization. He’s a brave and happy boy, ready to embrace all of life’s adventures and offer unconditional love to his family.

Rex underwent major hip surgery as a pup and has made a full recovery. He currently shows no signs of his past injury.

Training & Support

Rex is learning leash skills and household manners and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training.

Transporation

Rex is located in South Carolina, but transport to the northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located on the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their new companion. Local or virtual meet-and-greets are available with an application on file.
