Roxy

Roxy is a gorgeous 48 lb girl that is as sweet as they come! She's approximately 2 years old and was found in January of 2026 in a cemetery with about 12+ other dogs, fending for herself. This awesome girl absolutely loves other dogs, big and small, and is a big cuddler who loves to snuggle up next to her human. Roxy enjoys her toys and gently chases the farm pigs. She is a loyal shadow who wants to be next to her human more often than not.

Ideal Home

Roxy would do well in a medium-active home with other dogs she can play with. She needs someone who can provide regular playtime, exercise, and training.

Ongoing Health

Roxy is spayed, current on vaccinations, flea/tick, heartworm prevention, and de-wormer. She has received a 30-day course of antibiotics for heartworm positive and needs to stay on heartworm prevention for 12-16 months and be retested then. She will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport.

Training & Support

Roxy is crate trained and does well when left alone, preferring not to be crated. She is a bit of an escape artist and loves to explore, but she comes back immediately when called.

Roxy is currently located in south Texas, along the Texas/Mexico border. Transport is available to the Central US and the East Coast, including specific stops in NY, VT, NH, CT, OH, PA (on hold), NJ, MD, and VA.
