A little about them
Drew is a sweet, medium-high-energy Plott Hound mix who loves walks, car rides, fetch, squirrels, and relaxing on the couch. He is food motivated, barely barks, and would make a wonderful running companion.
Ideal Home
Drew would thrive with an active adopter who can provide two walks a day, playtime, and regular exercise. He is friendly with dogs, cats, and children of any age, and can live with another dog or as the only dog. Apartment living is suitable with sufficient exercise. A physical fence is preferred but not required.
Drew is still learning not to pull when he sees squirrels, and he can jump enthusiastically during fetch, sometimes jumping over people to reach his toy.
Ongoing Health
- Adoption fees include neutering, microchipping, vaccinations, deworming, and current flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives.
- Drew is heartworm negative.
Training & Support
- Crate trained and quiet in his crate.
- House trained.
- Food motivated and easy to train.
