Indiana is a 2-year-old, 47-pound Pit mix with a heart full of love and a spirit ready for adventure! He's a super sweet boy with a lot of energy, but right now, Indiana needs a quiet place to heal. He is currently heartworm positive and requires a calm environment to recover. This means no strenuous exercise for the next few months while he undergoes treatment. Being cooped up is tough for such a playful pup, but once he's better, he'll be ready for all the running, playing, and exploring he can handle! Indiana is looking for a foster or forever family who can provide a peaceful home and help him stay low-key during his recovery.

Indiana is a silly and friendly companion who adores everyone he meets, people and dogs alike! He expresses his excitement with full-body wiggles and boundless affection. Still in his puppy phase, he's eager to learn and would love a family to help him with his training and show him the ropes.
