Ahoy there, future best friend! Gilligan may not have arrived on a three-hour tour, but his journey is one for the books. This handsome pup and his buddy Skipper were found one moonlit night on Calle Matamoros, outside the home of one of our founders. Before their arrival, they had been tied with string or wire, leaving painful cuts across their bodies—a heartbreaking sign of their past. Yet somehow, they showed up clean, flea-free, and ready for a fresh start. It was as if fate dropped them off at the doorstep of hope. Gilligan, born around August 2024, has spent far too many days at our shelter dreaming of his forever home. And what a dreamboat he is! With noble eyes and a playful heart, this energetic explorer loves to run, splash in his water tub, and soak up every ounce of joy the day offers. He's got the spirit of a puppy and the soul of a survivor. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a splash of adventure and a whole lot of love, Gilligan's your guy. Gilligan arrived with painful cuts from being tied, but has since been treated and is flea-free.

Gilligan is smart, eager, and ready to learn. He will need some guidance with house training.

Transportation

Gilligan is currently located in a shelter. He can be adopted locally or can fly with a flight angel to his new home/family. Most common flight angel destinations include Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, and Victoria, but are not limited to these locations if a flight angel can be found elsewhere.
