Daffy is a 2-year-old, neutered male Plott Hound Mix who weighs around 65 pounds. He's a resilient and fun-loving boy who was rescued from the euthanasia list at BARC in Houston, Texas, just moments before it was too late. Thanks to Dizzy Dog Animal Rescue and his incredible foster mom, Daffy got his second chance at life and is now ready to find his furever family. He adores playing with other dogs and thrives on activity and companionship. Daffy is fully house-trained and crate-trained, knows his name, and enjoys playing catch and spending time by his person’s side.
Ideal Home
Daffy would do best in a home with other playful dogs and an active family who can match his energy. Because of his size and excitement, he’d be a better fit for a home with children over 10, as he sometimes doesn’t realize his strength when he gets excited.

Training & Support
Daffy is still learning leash manners, as he tends to pull and zigzag, but he’s eager to learn with some guidance. When left unsupervised, Daffy may "relocate" household items to the yard, so crating him is recommended while you’re away. With patience and training, he’ll continue to grow into the wonderful companion he’s meant to be.
