Princess is a 45-50lb spayed female terrier mix, approximately four years old with a birthday of November 14, 2021. She's a bundle of joy who was returned to a shelter for being too energetic, but she's really just a happy girl who loves to be with her people! She's up-to-date on all her shots, heartworm negative, and on monthly prevention. Princess is crate trained and house-trained, and has settled down wonderfully in her foster home, knowing she's safe and loved. She enjoys car rides and squeaky toys. While she knows her commands, she can get excited and jump for attention, but a gentle correction and a request to "sit" will have her calmly accepting pets. She's an avid chewer, so providing her with appropriate chew toys like KONGs and bully sticks is key to keeping her happy and preventing her from chewing on household items. Princess will bark for attention, including to go potty or to get some love. She understands that a "sit" is needed for petting. She's friendly with other dogs of all sizes and also gets along with cats, but her energetic nature might be a bit much for very small animals.
Ideal Home
Princess would thrive in an active home with older children, an active couple, or an active single person who can match her enthusiasm. She absolutely NEEDS A FENCED YARD, as she is not off-leash trained without one. She would not be a good fit for an apartment. She can be the only dog in the home if she gets plenty of exercise, or she would love to have a canine companion who matches her energy and zest for life.

Princess is up-to-date on all vaccinations, is heartworm negative, and is on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
Training & Support
Princess knows several commands including sit, come, stay, off, and heel. She takes treats very nicely. She is an avid chewer, so providing her with plenty of appropriate chew toys is recommended. She will bark for attention and to go potty. She understands that she needs to sit for petting.

Transporation
