Meet Dutch! This handsome Cane Corso pup was born on May 1, 2024, and is expected to weigh between 85-100 pounds when fully grown. Dutch is a devoted "velcro dog" who loves to be by his person's side. He was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Louisiana after being seized as part of a cruelty investigation. Thankfully, he's now in a loving foster home and has undergone surgery for inflamed nictitating membrane glands in his eyes. Dutch is a big, strong, goofy boy who has already started basic obedience training.

Ideal Home

Dutch would do best in a home with experience handling large breeds. Someone who can continue his positive reinforcement training and help him become the best boy he can be!

Ongoing Health

Dutch has had surgery for inflamed nictitating membrane glands in his eyes. He is neutered, vaccinated for the year (Rabies, Distemper Parvovirus, Parainfluenza, 4 strains of Leptospirosis, Bordetella), microchipped, and heartworm tested. He is current on flea and heartworm preventative.

Training & Support

Dutch has begun basic obedience training and is eager to please. Continued training and socialization will be key to his success.
