Buddy

Buddy is a sweet, gentle, and adorable 5-year-old neutered male Basset/Lab mix! He was surrendered locally due to an eviction and is now ready to find his forever home. Buddy loves to play fetch, and if you have a ball, you'll have his heart! He's good with other dogs, cats, and even has nice manners with livestock like goats, chickens, and ducks. While he might be a little shy around men at first, a game of fetch will quickly win him over. Buddy is a little on the chunky side, so he'll need a family committed to helping him with some exercise and a healthy diet.

Ideal Home

Buddy would thrive as an only dog in the home, as he prefers to keep his toys to himself. He's great with cats and has experience with livestock.

Ongoing Health

Buddy is slightly overweight and will benefit from a controlled diet and regular exercise.

Training & Support

Buddy is house-trained and knows basic commands. He can be a little nervous around men initially, but a ball and some patience will help him warm up.
