Lemmy - In Foster Care

Lemmy is a wonderful, approximately 1-year-old mixed breed weighing around 40 pounds. He's incredibly snuggly and calm, always wanting to be close to his people. Lemmy was found as a stray, so his history is a bit of a mystery, but he's shown us he's full of love! He enjoys his dog bed, plays gently with his toys, and seems to be potty trained, keeping his kennel clean and preferring to go outside. He's also a great walking companion and is very quiet.

Ideal Home

Lemmy should do well in a home with other pets and children, provided everyone is introduced carefully and supervised. He needs a quiet environment with plenty of rest during his heartworm treatment.

Ongoing Health

Lemmy has tested positive for heartworm and will require a 6-8 month treatment plan involving three injections. He has been neutered and is fully vaccinated.

Training & Support

Lemmy appears to be potty trained. He is looking for a calm environment during his treatment. We are happy to discuss the treatment process with potential adopters.
