Javi

Introducing Javi, an absolutely delightful little companion just waiting for someone to offer him his forever home. Born March 3rd, 2025, this charming 10-pound Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix is bursting with energy and affection. Javi quickly captivates everyone he encounters with his playful spirit and endearing personality, making friends wherever he goes. He is curious, playful, active, and welcoming of people, children, and all dogs. While still learning and a bit shy, he's very outgoing and loves exploring, walking, trails, and hikes. He adores other dogs, big and small. His sweet and gentle demeanor radiates warmth, and he thrives on social interactions. Watching him play is a joy! His mom weighs 5.6 pounds and his dad weighs 13 pounds, so his adult size is unknown. Javi loves car rides, playing with cats, and is amazing with children of all ages. He is gentle, sweet, energetic, playful, outgoing, social, and ever so adorable.

Ongoing Health

All adoptions include a spay/neuter procedure, rabies vaccination, core vaccinations, negative heartworm test (if of age), monthly heartworm, flea, and tick prevention, negative Lyme disease test, deworming, negative fecal test, and all age-appropriate medical needs addressed. Veterinary records are included.

Training & Support

Training is an ongoing journey that requires daily attention. Continued training is vital to setting Javi up for lifelong success.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• A $35 minimum booking fee is required to book a meet-and-greet with dogs, in addition to the standard adoption fee. This fee helps cover background checks and travel costs. Refunds are only issued if you cancel 72 hours before your scheduled meet and greet appointment.
• A minimum of one meet-and-greet session with dogs is required before adoption. More can be accommodated upon request.
• A home visit with the adoptable pet is required upon adoption.
• Out-of-state adopters are welcome at their own expense. We DO NOT ship our adoptable pets.
• Adoption fees are payable at the time of adoption. Payment plans are not available.
• For former Wags adopters, a donation of your choice is appreciated, but no formal adoption fee is required.
• The review of adoption applications, meeting dogs/cats, and finalized adoption can take up to three weeks.
• A tax-deductible minimum adoption donation fee of $500.

Transportation

Javi is located at our rescue. Traveling to adopters may be possible at the adopter's expense, with a minimum booking charge of $35 up to $85 in addition to the adoption fee, depending on the number of meet-and-greets and distance. The travel fee is due when the meet-and-greet is scheduled.
