JD is a 3-year-old Australian Shepherd mix who weighs around 60 pounds. He's a gentle and affectionate boy with a calm temperament, and he shows no signs of aggression. True to his breed, JD thrives with plenty of space, activity, and mental stimulation. He's not suited for confined living and will do best in a home where he can run, play, and enjoy an active lifestyle.

JD has been friendly towards other dogs. While he had a minor past conflict with another male dog, we believe he would be happiest either as the only dog in the home or as a companion to a female dog. He would make a wonderful and playful partner for an active female dog!
