Meet Big Sky Bassets. My approach to breeding is built on a foundation of education and high standards. Coming from a professional background in counseling and teaching, I understand that the best results come from being a lifelong learner. I am committed to raising this breed with total transparency, focusing on thorough health testing and intentional care. While I treat every litter as a new opportunity to learn and improve, my goal remains constant: to provide families with a healthy, well-adjusted Basset Hound raised in a professional, loving environment. Our dogs are raised on our 160-acre family ranch in the Texas Hill Country. In 2026, we opened a new climate-controlled facility specifically designed to give our Bassets a clean, safe, and comfortable space to grow. We focus on a 'quality over quantity' philosophy, ensuring that our small-scale program allows for hands-on socialization and the highest level of care. We are proud of the environment we’ve built and welcome the opportunity to share our process with families looking for a responsibly raised companion.
