JOY (Very Sweet, Kind, Loves All She Meets, Dogs, Adults, Kids, Happy, Loving)

Hi, I'm Joy! I'm a sweet and happy 1-year-old, 44-pound Black Lab/Pit Bull mix. My brother George and I found ourselves looking for people in a park one day, and we were so excited to greet everyone we met! After a short stay at the local pound, we were rescued and have been living in foster care ever since. The vet visit confirmed my happy-go-lucky personality, and "Joy" seemed like the perfect name for me! I'm a very affectionate girl who loves being part of everything my people do. I'm house-trained, crate-trained, ride well in the car, and am a good girl. I'm also getting better on my leash and enjoy going on adventures.

Ideal Home

I get along wonderfully with other dogs and don't bother cats. I've shown nothing but kindness to everyone I meet, and I especially love children and people! I thrive on attention, affection, and companionship. I love to rest my head on my foster's lap for some reassurance that I'm a good girl. I would love a family that enjoys simple pleasures like camping, hiking, neighborhood walks, coffee shop visits, or just snuggling on the couch.

Ongoing Health

I am spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on my shots.

Training & Support

I am house-trained and crate-trained. I am also well-behaved and learning to be better on a leash.
