Tux Fancy Pants

Meet Tux Fancy Pants, the world's most dashing gentleman in a built-in tuxedo! With his shiny black coat, floppy ears, and a smile that could melt a glacier, Tux is a handsome, goofy, and incredibly sweet Lab/Pitty mix, about a year and a half old. He's a walking ray of sunshine who adores being close to his people for cuddles and compliments. You'll often find him leaning against you for pets or rolling over for belly rubs.

Ideal Home

Tux would be thrilled to have a chill canine buddy who has good manners and enjoys playing in the yard. He's not a fan of dog parks but would love a backyard buddy for fun and games. He's also done well with polite, curious cats. Tux is great with kids and would be a sweet, patient companion for family fun. He is hoping for a home with a fenced yard where he can stretch his legs and do zoomies, as apartments are not his ideal living situation.

Ongoing Health

Tux is a healthy boy who has received all necessary vetting.

Training & Support

Tux is working on his leash skills and prefers open spaces. He is potty trained and sleeps through the night, showing excellent manners once he's settled.

Transportation

Tux is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. You can track their journey in real time and receive photo updates. A surcharge of $87 applies for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
