About Peanut

Peanut is a magnificent 4-year-old Shepherd/Chow mix, weighing in at 102 pounds. His soulful brown eyes, stunning golden-brown coat with a reddish glow, and incredibly soft fur are sure to capture your heart. He's a gentle giant who's a bit of a "work in progress" and is looking for a family who sees his incredible potential. Peanut is currently a little overweight, but with a consistent routine of walks, structured playtime, proper portion control, and lots of encouragement, he's more than capable of reaching his best, healthiest self. He enjoys short bursts of fetch and playing with friends, and with your support, his stamina and confidence will undoubtedly grow. Peanut is a sweet, kind soul who needs a committed, active family to help him shed his funk and blossom into the happiest, healthiest version of himself. If you're ready to celebrate every small victory with this big-hearted boy, Peanut is ready to start his journey with you.
