Johnny Cash is a spirited three-and-a-half-year-old Boxer/Husky mix with a striking brindle coat and charming white accents. He embodies a thrilling blend of wild adventure and devoted affection. Cash is a powerhouse of energy and joy, perfect for someone who craves the open trail, a daily runner’s high, or the quiet satisfaction of a long mountain hike. With his strong, athletic build and endless stamina, he's happiest logging long-distance adventures with his human. He recently completed a 7½-mile hike, proving himself to be an incredible hiking companion. He’s not just a running buddy; he’s also a cuddlebug who will carry his favorite chew bone to greet you and then snuggle up close when the day is done. After a good walk or hike, Cash settles beautifully and is calm and relaxed in the house, but he’s always ready for his next adventure at a moment’s notice!
Ideal Home
Johnny Cash needs an experienced, active guardian who understands and can confidently manage his high prey drive. He cannot live with cats or be trusted off-leash under any circumstances due to his strong prey drive, which has led to severe incidents with small animals in the past. He pulls toward squirrels and small dogs on walks and must remain securely leashed at all times outdoors.

Johnny Cash is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He is currently doing great with a good-quality grain-free diet and digestion.
Training & Support
Johnny Cash is house-trained and obedience-trained, knowing commands like sit, down, heel, and go to place. He thrives on structure and routine and is content being alone for up to six hours. His guardian must be prepared to manage his high prey drive and ensure he is always securely leashed when outdoors.
