Vega

Hi there, I'm Vega! I'm a 6-year-old, 70-pound boxer with a beautiful brindle and white coat. I'm looking for a forever home with someone who can keep up with my adventurous spirit and love me unconditionally. I'm an extremely loving, smart, and adventurous boy who enjoys playing, running, and exploring. I'm also very eager to please, especially if there are treats involved! I'm already neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative, so I'm ready to join your family. My foster mom says I have a lot of drive, which makes me super fun to work with and would make me amazing at dog sports!

Ideal Home

I need an owner who will actively work with me and take me on adventures, as I am definitely not a couch potato! I am dog selective and need slow introductions to other dogs. Due to my high prey drive, I should not be around cats or other small animals. I do well with children, but older kids are best due to my size and energy.

Ongoing Health

I am neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

I can be crate reactive and experience some barrier frustration, but I'm making great progress in learning to manage these behaviors. I also need more work on leash training as I tend to pull hard; gentle leaders might be helpful for teaching me to walk better.
