Lou Loomie is a charming Lab/Aussie mix, believed to be around 5 months old and weighing approximately 30lbs. His most striking feature is his comically large ears, which add to his goofy and endearing personality. Lou is incredibly affectionate, melting into your touch and soaking up all the love you offer. He has an easygoing nature and strikes a wonderful balance between playful energy and calm companionship, naturally adjusting to his family's rhythm.
Ideal Home
Lou would thrive in a home with a backyard where he can explore and stretch his legs. He'd do well with confident, adult dogs who can help guide him, but he's also happy to be the only dog and receive all the attention. Experienced dog owners who understand the importance of consistency and boundaries will help him continue to flourish. A semi-active family that enjoys both outdoor adventures and relaxing evenings at home would be a great match.

Lou is doing very well with potty training, achieving about 85% success with a consistent schedule. He is highly food-motivated and eager to please, making him a fantastic candidate for continued training with positive reinforcement. He is also crate trained, though he may protest for a few minutes initially. Continuing his crate training will help him thrive with structure and routine.

You can track your pet's journey in real time and receive photo updates. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
