Meet Lessie, a gentle and shy girl looking for a second chance at happiness. She was unfortunately abandoned and tied to our shelter's fence in Mexico, but despite her difficult past, she is incredibly sweet and loves the company of other dogs.
Lessie is showing wonderful progress with confidence building and leash walking, thanks to our dedicated dog trainer. However, the bustling shelter environment can be a bit overwhelming for her. She is a nervous girl initially and will thrive with a patient and experienced adopter who can help her feel safe and loved.
Ideal Home
Lessie would do best in a quiet, calm, and predictable home environment. She is looking for a home with teens or adults only, as young children may be too much for her sensitive nature. A spacious yard, a ranch, or an adopter who enjoys hiking trails would be perfect for her. Having another friendly dog in the home would be a wonderful bonus, as she enjoys canine companionship. Lessie is already potty trained and leash trained!
Ongoing Health
