Sebastian, a 9-week-old male Chihuahua/Terrier mix, is a sweet and quiet boy who weighs about 3 pounds and will continue to grow. He was found abandoned with eight other puppies in Houston and is now in a foster home in Austin, Texas. Sebastian is a natural snuggler who prefers quiet cuddles over boisterous play. He's a gentle and loving companion who will be happiest curled up in your arms.
Ideal Home
Sebastian is looking for a family that can provide a consistent routine, plenty of positive reinforcement, and patience as he learns about the world. He is expected to do well with children, cats, and other dogs, but any existing pets should be gentle and experienced with very small dogs. All interactions should be supervised. Because of his young age and small size, Sebastian cannot be left alone for long periods and needs a home where someone is present most of the time. If you work outside the home for more than 4 hours, a second adult in the household must be available to care for him during the day.
Ongoing Health
No specific health conditions are mentioned.
Training & Support
Sebastian is still working on potty training and crate training. His new family should be prepared to continue consistent training, provide frequent potty breaks, and use positive reinforcement. Puppies thrive with structure, routine, and supervision, and Sebastian is no exception.
