Josie

Meet Josie! This sweet girl is about 15 weeks old, with a potential birthday of December 15, 2025, and currently weighs around 25 pounds. Josie has big bones and we expect her to grow to be over 60 pounds, though her final size isn't guaranteed. She was rescued along with her sister from a backyard breeder who couldn't sell their long-haired Rottweiler mixes. Their mother was likely a mix, and while their father is unknown, Josie has some Shepherd mix characteristics.

Ideal Home

Josie is a gentle soul who gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and children. She's currently thriving in a home with senior ladies, small adult dogs, larger dogs, and cats.

Ongoing Health

Josie's adoption includes age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, spay surgery, microchipping, and parasite prevention.

Training & Support

Josie is already doing well with crate training and house training. She's a quick learner and will continue to blossom with consistent guidance.

Transporation

Josie is currently in a foster home in Alabama. Transport to the northeast or New England is included in the adoption fee and is provided by a licensed animal transporter.
