June is a 6-year-old, 45lb, spayed female who is fully vetted, house-broken, and crate-trained. She was initially adopted from us and returned two years later due to developing storm anxiety. We've found that a sturdy crate helps her feel safe and secure during thunderstorms. June loves to run like the wind and enjoys playing with toys by herself and playing fetch in her foster home's large backyard. She has a fun-loving, playful spirit that will keep you entertained and will offer an "Aussie smile" when excited and wanting a hug. She adores belly rubs, cuddling, and pets.
Ideal Home
June would thrive in a home where someone is present more often than not, such as with a retired person or someone who works from home. She would likely prefer being the only dog in the household to receive all the attention. An active household is desired, and she would benefit from training activities where she can excel.
Ongoing Health
June has storm anxiety and is most comfortable in a sturdy crate during thunderstorms.
Training & Support
June has bonded well with men who volunteer for the rescue, despite a negative experience with a man in her early life. She will bond with her new owner similarly to how she has bonded with her foster parents. She would benefit from an active household and possibly a training activity where she can excel and learn.

- Home Visit
- The adoption fee is $300.
Transporation
June is located in Sanger, TX. It is required that you travel there to meet her in person within 10 days of application approval if you want to adopt. The entire party involved in the household, including all family members and resident dogs, must meet June.
