Sheba

Sheba is a beautiful, stately Dutch Shepherd mix, estimated to be around 4 years old. She came to us from the dog warden after spending too much time crated, and she is absolutely reveling in the freedom to explore the grounds and enjoy the vistas. Sheba can be a little tentative at first, walking cautiously, but she is a very good leash walker. She’s happy to accept encouraging treats gently when offered. Her teeth show some tartar, which may be a sign of past neglect.

Ideal Home

Sheba seems to be comfortable with people she has met, but she can show her distaste for other dogs in close quarters. For this reason, she would likely do best as the only dog in the home. Sheba would be a fantastic companion for someone who loves shepherd breeds and is looking for a devoted furry friend.

Ongoing Health

No specific ongoing health conditions were noted, but her teeth show some tartar, possibly due to past neglect.

Training & Support

Sheba has shown that she has had some previous training. She walks well on a leash and takes treats gently.
