Meet Dolce! This approximately one-year-old, 45-pound Staffie mix is a bundle of joy and ready to find her forever family. Dolce is spayed, up-to-date on all vaccinations and preventatives, and has a wonderful, adaptable personality. She's a perfect blend of playful energy and laid-back companionship, always ready for an adventure or a snuggle on the couch. Dolce loves playing with other dogs her size, engaging in joyful zoomies and enthusiastic tug-of-war sessions. She's great at reading other dogs' cues and knows when it's time to relax. Dolce is sweet and calm when meeting new dogs off-leash in a secure, supervised environment. Her energy levels are adaptable; she's ready for playtime when you are, and a perfect snuggle buddy for movie nights. Dolce has not been exposed to cats up close, though she will alert you to their presence if she sees them outside. While she hasn't had extensive experience with children, her gentle and relaxed demeanor suggests she would likely do well with older, dog-savvy kids. On walks, Dolce is a dream – she walks beautifully without pulling and is always alert to her surroundings. She's a great traveler in the car and has no reported issues with separation anxiety or potty training. Dolce is not destructive when left alone and is comfortable without a crate. She is affectionate and enjoys a little independence. Dolce has not shown any resource guarding with her current foster siblings, though separate feeding is always recommended during a transition. She can be a bit barky and jumpy when meeting new people and may initially be shy, so slow, calm introductions are key. Once she feels comfortable, Dolce is incredibly loyal, loving, and eager to be your favorite adventure companion.
Ideal Home
Dolce would love a home with a fenced yard where she can stretch her legs. She can do well with a canine sibling or as your one and only companion. While she enjoys playtime, she doesn't require constant high-intensity activity. Dolce hasn't been exposed to cats, but has shown interest in them from a distance. She may do well with older, dog-savvy children.
