Meet Akira! This sweet, 5.5-year-old, 60lb spayed female Staffordshire mix has a face you won't forget and a heart full of love to give. Akira was rescued from a euthanasia list with only minutes to spare and has been patiently waiting for her forever family for nearly nine months. We can't understand why this wonderful girl hasn't received an application yet! She is fully crate-trained, knows her basic commands, and takes treats so gently. Akira is a big love bug who thinks she's a tiny lap dog and her favorite activities include lounging on a comfy dog bed, going for walks, and playing with her stuffed toys. She adores people and enjoys the company of calm, submissive dogs. While she would be okay as the only dog, her ultimate dream is to be your one and only!

Training & Support

Akira is crate-trained and knows her basic commands. She is a very good listener and gentle when taking treats.
