Mojo

Mojo is an 8½ year old male German Shepherd with a truly inspiring comeback story. He and his mom were found abandoned in a pen, living in squalor and surviving on rats. Mojo arrived in 2024 in poor physical condition with severe genetic hip issues, making walking painful and limiting his movement. After successful bilateral hip surgeries, Mojo is now living his best life, running with gusto and making up for lost time! He is wonderful with people, affectionate, gentle, and a loving companion once he bonds with you. Mojo is also good with other dogs, provided they are respectful and don't body slam him, as he's had two hip surgeries. He would do best with canine friends who understand personal space and with children over 10 who know how to interact with dogs.

Ideal Home

Mojo needs a securely fenced yard and a home where significant stair climbing isn't required, as fewer stairs would be ideal for his mobility. He is not a good fit for homes with cats or any small animals.

Ongoing Health

Mojo has undergone bilateral hip surgeries which were successful.

Training & Support

Mojo is well-mannered, housebroken, and easy to live with. He knows how to settle, relax, and enjoy being part of a household.
