Dorkie. 5.6 lbs

This little lady is Dorkie, a 5.6 lb bundle of Doxie and Yorkie charm! Born on October 20, 2025, her adult weight is a bit of a mystery, but her build is pure Doxie with short legs and a long back, complemented by the scruffy fur of a Yorkie. She was an "oops" baby from a breeder and is now looking for her forever home. Dorkie was a little shy at first but is blossoming beautifully. She absolutely adores snuggling and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She's also been a gem with cats and children, though we do ask that any children in the home be 12 years or older, given her small size.

Ideal Home

Dorkie would thrive in a home that can accommodate her small size and provide gentle interaction. Please note that we ask for any upcoming vacations to be completed before applying to adopt.

Ongoing Health

Dorkie has been spayed, vaccinated for parvo and distemper, and received her rabies vaccination. She is microchipped, and her fecal test was negative. All veterinary paperwork will come home with her.

Training & Support

Dorkie is not yet house-trained, and her new family will need to be committed to teaching her this skill.

• Transport is available every other Wednesday morning to Maumee, Ohio, if needed.
