Oscar-FOSTER needed

Nelson and Oscar are two best friends, about 5 years old and under 25 pounds each, who were recently dumped at an overcrowded shelter. Thankfully, they were rescued and are now recovering from necessary surgeries. Nelson is being neutered and is also having surgery for entropion in both eyes and a hernia. Oscar is being neutered to help resolve an enlarged prostate and is being treated for urinary crystals, which are expected to improve with a quality diet and good hydration. These happy, playful boys love everyone they meet and do wonderfully with other dogs. They have spent years together, sharing everything from naps to playtime, and are struggling to be apart while they recover.

Ideal Home

An active foster home with a fenced yard where Nelson and Oscar can be together, play, and recover from their surgeries.

Ongoing Health

Nelson is recovering from eye surgery for entropion and a hernia repair, in addition to being neutered. Oscar is being treated for an enlarged prostate and urinary crystals, and is also being neutered. Both are expected to make a full recovery with proper care.

Training & Support

Nelson and Oscar are bonded and thrive on each other's company. Ensuring they are housed together is crucial for their emotional well-being during their recovery.
