Jettie is a 5-month-old black short-haired Labrador Retriever mix with a gentle soul and a sweetness that shines through the moment you meet her. This pup is expected to grow to a medium size dog of anywhere up to 60 lbs. She currently weighs around 33 pounds. This beautiful girl is shy with people, especially in new situations. With humans, she is learning to open up slowly, bravely, and with so much heart. She is already making progress, and patience, gentle guidance, and a few tasty treats help her take those important steps toward trust. Jettie gets along well with other dogs and kids. She would do best in a home with another dog. Her house, crate, and leash training are all in progress. Her life living on the streets as a stray is behind her. She is learning to trust and taking it one day at a time. She will need a patient owner to help guide her to finding her inner confidence.
