Jeffery

Jeffery is a 2-3 year old, neutered male Staffordshire Terrier mix weighing approximately 90-95lbs. He's a gentle giant with people and absolutely loves to cuddle and hang out on the couch for movie nights. He was unfortunately dumped at the Dallas shelter and likely lived as a junkyard dog before being rescued. Despite his past, he's a total sweetheart and a wonderfully loyal companion to people. He is crate trained, potty trained, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations. Jeffery also knows his commands and is very responsive, even backing up and sitting down if you raise your voice while walking him.

Ideal Home

Jeffery would do best in a home with a single person, a couple, or a family with older children 12 years or older. He needs to be the ONLY pet in the home as he does not like other male dogs and is questionable with female dogs. He is not a dog for dog parks and would prefer leisurely walks over running or hiking. He must not be left on tie-outs or be in a yard with an electric fence.

Ongoing Health

Jeffery is heartworm negative and up to date on all his shots.

Training & Support

Jeffery is already crate trained and potty trained. He responds well to gentle guidance during walks.

Transporation

Jeffery is currently in a foster home in Ft. Worth, TX. Transport will be arranged by our rescue post-adoption if needed.
