Meet Fernanda! This gorgeous 3-month-old Pit Bull/Labrador Retriever mix has the sweetest amber-green eyes, an adorable pink nose, a soft caramel-and-white coat, and floppy ears that somehow make her even cuter. She has a smile that never seems to leave her face and a constantly wagging tail that's a pretty good indicator of her joyful personality. Fernanda is thriving in her loving foster home, where she lives with a young child, another dog, a cat, and her foster parents. She has embraced every part of family life with her whole heart.

Ideal Home

Fernanda would be equally happy in a home with children, another playful dog, or even a dog-savvy cat. As long as she's surrounded by love, Fernanda is going to blossom.

Ongoing Health

All vetting, DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration are included.

Training & Support

Fernanda is doing incredibly well with her training, especially for such a young puppy. She's quiet and relaxed in her kennel, is nearly fully potty trained with very few accidents, and walks beautifully on a leash around the neighborhood. She's gentle, easy to handle, and makes neighborhood strolls feel effortless. Like any happy puppy, she'll occasionally invite the cat to play, but she's at the perfect age to continue learning respectful boundaries. Growing up alongside a feline friend is giving her such a wonderful foundation for a future home with cats.

• The adoption fee is $1,200 and includes all vetting, DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship.
• There is an $87 surcharge for transportation.

Transporation

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travel safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop off locations, in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page! Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
