About Yogi Bear

Yogi is a 5-year-old Lab/Shar-Pei mix, weighing around 63 pounds. She has a beautiful, soft chestnut coat and a sweet, slightly wrinkled face that always seems to be smiling. Yogi has a calm and grounded presence, forming deep bonds with her people. She enjoys simply being near you and keeping you company. While she may take a moment to warm up to new people, once she does, she's affectionate, fun, and incredibly easygoing. Yogi is the type of dog who settles in quickly and becomes a seamless part of your life.

Ideal Home

Yogi would do best in a home with older, respectful children. She would also thrive with someone who appreciates a dog that bonds deeply and wants to be a cherished part of your world. She can adapt to living in a house or an apartment, as long as she receives regular exercise.

Ongoing Health

Yogi is currently heartworm positive and has begun treatment. She will require a committed adopter who can continue her care. Otherwise, she is a healthy and wonderful dog ready for her next chapter.

Training & Support

Yogi is fully potty trained and crate trained, settling easily. She walks well on a leash, requiring only occasional reminders. She is a low-maintenance and adaptable companion.
