Meet Gus!

Gus is a handsome 1.5-year-old Black and Tan Coonhound mix with a heart as big as his soft, floppy ears. He was unfortunately left behind in a rural area by his former humans, but this experience hasn't dimmed his bright spirit. Gus loves generously, trusts openly, and greets each new day as a fresh adventure. He's learning that life doesn't have to be about "performing," and is now all about relaxing, being a pup, and enjoying simple joys like soaking up the sunshine and exploring the world through his amazing sense of smell.

Ideal Home

Gus would be an amazing adventure partner for camping, hiking, or fishing, but always with planned sniff breaks! After a day of exploring, he's happy to curl up inside in a warm and cozy spot. A big, comfy bed is an absolute must for this sweet boy. He is great with kids and other dogs, but cats are still a question mark as he's learning.

Gus is neutered, microchipped, and current on his shots.

Training & Support

Gus is house-trained and crate-trained, making him an easy addition to a loving home.
