Waffles McGee, a charming 1 year and 7 month old male Staffordshire Mix, is a squishy-faced, big-hearted boy who has been through more than we'll ever fully know. Despite his past, Waffles still believes in people. He greets you with a soft wag, walks nicely on leash, and simply wants to be close. He possesses a goofy, lovable personality that's sure to make you smile, with a little bounce in his step and an abundance of love to give. Waffles McGee is on a journey of healing, both inside and out, and he's searching for a special person who can see past his rough start and recognize the incredible dog he is becoming.

Waffles would thrive with a confident, patient owner who can provide him with structure, love, and the time he needs to decompress. An ideal adopter would understand strong, loyal breeds and be ready for a true companion. Older children are recommended for his household.

Waffles McGee has been neutered, vaccinated (Rabies, Bordetella, DA2PP), and microchipped. He is currently heartworm positive, and this is being addressed. Potential adopters will be guided through his treatment plan.

Training & Support

Waffles walks nicely on leash. His house-training status is unknown but likely achievable with a routine. He would likely do well with crate training. He is selective with other dogs and requires proper introductions. His compatibility with cats is unknown.
