Cassie Spotted Sweetness

Meet Cassie, a sweet and affectionate four-and-a-half-year-old Pittie/Staffy mix with the most adorable polka-dot ears and a heart full of love. Cassie is a well-mannered girl who enjoys leisurely walks, car rides, and relaxing in the sunshine. She's also a smart cookie, knowing "sit," "paw," and "lay down." Cassie absolutely adores children and has a gentle nature around them. She prefers a calm and peaceful environment and would do well as the only dog or with a mellow male companion. Cassie is not a fit for a home with cats.

Ideal Home

Cassie would thrive in a home that's looking for a loyal companion rather than a high-energy dog. She'd love a home with a yard where she can explore, but apartment living could work for the right family. She's looking for a peaceful household, ideally with mellow dog friends or as the only dog.

Ongoing Health

Cassie is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. She has also been heartworm tested.

Training & Support

Cassie knows "sit," "paw," and "lay down." She is described as being eager to show off her manners for treats and praise. She can sometimes feel the need to "supervise" if things get too rowdy, so a peaceful household is recommended.

Transporation

Cassie is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. This includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. Transport is available and includes real-time tracking and photo updates. A surcharge of $87 applies for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
